Radius Staircases
Stair Treads from Reclaimed Wood
This staircase has a very different look from the other radius staircase on the previous page. The white oak treads were made out of wood that came from a barn that was more than 100 years old. Also, this has an open riser and the other was built as a closed riser staircase.

for Best Woodworking Project of 2011

In February of 2012, Joe went to the International Builder's Show in Orlando where he received the award for Best Woodworking Project of 2011 by The Family Handyman magazine.
The guest speaker was Daryl Johnston, former Dallas Cowboy and also the person who gave the award to Joe.
